Day 13 and 14: Yangshuo to Yipu to Guilin

It's day 14 and I'm behind a couple days but I'm too tired to update too much so I'll do it briefly.

Yesterday, we wandered around a lot of caves and did a lot of boat rides. Guilin's area has SO many caves, it's pretty ridiculous. And they're all lit by neon lights. It looks beautiful but it's quite intense. We wandered off the path by our hotel yesterday and were attacked by a swarm of mosquitos. I think I have a total of 22 bites but the number keeps rising and they are itchy m-fs. :(

Today we drove back to Guilin. We visited a weird medicine store and had delicious noodles for lunch. Afterwards, we visited the historical place in Guilin where the Ming Dynasty used to live. Then, we climbed a peak and had a 360 view of Guilin- it's such an incredible scene. You can see peaks for days. Afterwards, we sat around for a while and then had a vegetarian dinner, quite delicious! We watched a ridiculous performance tonight that made me laugh throughout even though it wasn't supposed to- it was quite serious. Then we rode down the Li River at night and it looked amazing. =) It's our last night of the tour and I'm excited for the rest of the trip. We're going to Nanjing tomorrow, and then Hangzhou, Suzhou, and then Shanghai.

I haven't uploaded pictures yet but I'll do so when we get to our next destination. Hope all is good! =)
