Day 29 & 30: Beijing

Happy birthday Wei and Diane! Hope you both have amazing days! =)

Andrew and Stephanie left yesterday for Boston. It was quite the adventurous day. We packed in Temple of Heaven, Pearl Market, and Lama Temple all into 5 hours. It was quite sad to say bye to them but now I'm on my own. I'm now staying at Nikki's place in Beijing while she's in Hong Kong. It's a really cool apartment and she has a really cute Cocker Spaniel named Jezebel that has entertained me all day today. The pollution has also caught up to me, and I've been sick for the past 3 days. I got to Nikki's place around 4 and slept from 5pm to around 8:30am today. All is good, though, and I'm happy to have found some free wireless while I'm here. I've already watched High School Musical 2 and Kite Runner. I'll find some way to keep myself entertained and try and meet up with people while I'm here. I'll update pictures later.
