Day 4: Hong Kong

Our last day in Hong Kong was my favorite day here so far, as well as the nicest weather-wise. The sun broke through the smog and clouds for about five minutes, but the humidity was lower than previous days and there was a nice breeze. We got up late today, and then had a good Hong Kong-style lunch. I bought a sim-card that is now eternally frozen after 3 failed attempts to login so that's unfortunate. I'll try again in China. :/ I saw the area where Daddy grew up, and the yellow building where Sahm-Goo-Ma went to school.
We spent the majority of the day in Tsim Sha Tsui shopping and walking around the big malls. After resting back at the hotel, we rode the Star Ferry over to Central, where we bought groceries and ate dinner.
I had baked tomato and pork chops over fried rice- delicious! It tasted almost as good as my mom's, which I haven't had in over 5 years.
After dinner (which was the first time we had eaten 2 meals in one day- a great way to save money!) we rode the Peak tram up to the Peak. The Peak was amazing, as usual. I took a lot pictures, which is typical of me. This is one of my favorite that I took tonight, though it was hard to get a good shot because of all the fog that kept rolling by and covering all over the buildings, as well as not having a tripod, which = blurry pictures.The Peak is my favorite place in Hong Kong, and I know that when I move to Hong Kong, I'll have to visit the place a lot. The Peak has the most amazing view of downtown Hong Kong, with all the skyscrapers and a view of Kowloon, as well.
Then we walked all the way back to the Star Ferry, which was closed by the time we got there so we had to walk back to the MTR. I saw this cute little guy who is the mascot for their climate change campaign. :) It made me think of Lily since she loves that cute stuff.
We're off at 9:30 tomorrow to go to Yunnan Province. I'm sad to leave Hong Kong but I know I'll come back some day soon. =) Off to some great new adventures!
